Eagles Improve to 4-0

A 3-0 start to the season is just what the Clarington Eagles needed coming out of the gate to start the 2026-2027 season. They looked for win #4 when travelling to Scarborough Sunday evening to face the Scarborough Knights.

1st Period

Sutton Edwards scores late to give the Eagles the first goal of the contest, but it was quickly answered by the Knights’ Joe Bordieri.

The Eagles controlled the period, outshooting Scarborough 18-7 in the first period.

2nd Period

The Eagles kept their pressure coming with another 18 shots in the 2nd period and got rewarded with 1 goal belonging to defenceman Theo Lavender.

3rd Period

Ethan Girard extended the Eagles’ lead to 3-1 before Scarborough answered back with a goal of their own by Sajjad Mawani to make it a game at 3-2.

But the Eagles would not let the Knights take this one from them and added goals by Ty Broadhagen and Jack Dean to finish off a 5-2 victory and make it 4 in a row for your Eagles, a streak they will try to keep alive Thursday night when they host the Little Britain Merchants. 7:25 puck drop.
