2022/2023 Hoopers Player of the Month

The Eagles’ Player of the Month Award is sponsored by Hooper’s Trophies & Promotional and Hoopers Jewellers. Adjacent to each other on King St., both shops are landmarks in downtown Bowmanville.  Ed and Ron Hooper are deeply entwined in the community of Clarington. Cousins, both men are stalwart, life-long fans and supporters of the game of ice hockey. In addition to running the store, Ed, is Vice-President of Hockey Operations for Clarington Thunder. Ron is President of the jewellers and serving his third term as Clarington Councillor for Ward 2. They will be awarding a Player of the Month at the first game of each month throughout the season.
