Eagles Streak Continues in Caledon

Clarington Eagles vs. Caledon Golden Hawks

The Clarington Eagles looked to keep their momentum rolling against a team they have historically dominated. Facing off against the Caledon Golden Hawks in front of 50 fans at the Mayfield Recreation Complex, this game proved to be no different from their previous encounters.

1st Period

The Eagles soared to an early lead, jumping ahead 2-0 less than ten minutes in thanks to a pair of goals by forward Brock Mathieson. Just 26 seconds later, Caleb Bidgood extended the lead to 3-0. The final goal of the frame was scored at the 18:31 mark by Ethan Baker, leaving the Eagles up 4-0 after one.

2nd Period

After Caledon managed to cut the lead to 4-1, the Eagles came storming back. Goals from Brayden Hicks and Ethan Baker (his second of the night) pushed the score to 6-1 heading into the final frame.
