Eagles Shutdown in Uxbridge

Clarington Eagles vs. Uxbridge Bruins

After moving past Caledon last Thursday, the Eagles faced the daunting task of taking on the league-leading Uxbridge Bruins.

1st Period

The Eagles found themselves behind early. Less than five minutes in, Josh Hall opened the scoring, followed four minutes later by a goal from Tucker Roberts to extend the lead. The Bruins headed into the first intermission up 2-0, outshooting the Eagles 13-7.

2nd Period

The second frame was more balanced in terms of shots (12-12), but the momentum didn’t shift where it mattered most: the scoreboard. Uxbridge added two more goals—one from Ryan Shier, followed by Tucker Roberts’ second of the night at the 18:58 mark.

3rd Period

The third period remained scoreless as the Eagles were shut out 4-0 in Uxbridge. Robbie DiMaria earned the shutout for the Bruins, while Jairus Ford took the loss in net for the Eagles.

Looking Ahead

It’s time for the Eagles to regroup! Two big points are up for grabs this Thursday as they face off against the Georgina Ice for the final time in the regular season.
